Douglas D. Bork, RLA
Owner and Registered Landscape Architect
Doug is a native of Atlanta and a graduate of the University of Georgia’s College of Environment & Design, with a degree in Landscape Architecture. He is a registered Landscape Architect with the Georgia Board of Landscape Architects and has more than 25 years of experience in the landscape design and construction industry. Doug has a vast array of experience in residential and commercial landscape design, management and construction.
Prior to starting Elements Landscape, Doug was vice president at Stephen Fuller, Inc., one of America’s leading and most sought-after residential design firms. There, Doug was head of the Landscape Design and Land Planning Division for more than five years, designing and planning many award-winning custom homes and communities. Doug has also worked for several of Atlanta’s premier landscape design/build companies as a senior landscape architect and project director, where he won several top industry awards from both the ALCA and MALTA landscape associations.

David Owen, RLA
Owner and Registered Landscape Architect
David is an accomplished Landscape Architect with a degree in landscape architecture from the University of Georgia. He has extensive experience in both Land Planning and Landscape Design as well as project and production management. David has provided the highest quality of creative and diverse landscape design and installation services to his clients for more than 20 years.
Before opening Elements Landscape, David worked 8 years at Stephen Fuller, Inc. serving as the Director of Land Planning. He was the lead on several award-winning estate, community and municipal design projects also serving as the professional consultant through the construction phase on those projects. David also worked with top landscape design-build firms in the Atlanta area in positions of Senior Landscape Architect and company Vice President. David was recently recognized for Outstanding Landscape Design, Installation, and Tree Preservation from the Alpharetta Natural Resource Commission.
David has a rigorous attention to detail and a goal to provide a level of service that is unsurpassed in the industry; satisfying functional, aesthetic, and budgetary goals for his clients and exceeding expectations on each and every job.
Joel Alvarenga
Project Manager
Joel was the first employee of Elements Landscape and is the foundation from which we have built our production teams. As a project manager, Joel’s role involves managing, supervising and implementing projects from start to finish. Joel’s vast experience of more than 35 years in the landscape industry enables him to manage and produce all facets of a landscape project. His experience, skills and professionalism are directly reflected in the quality of our projects. Joel has a great can-do attitude and friendly nature that all our homeowners enjoy. Joel and all of the members of our highly skilled production team at Elements Landscape, are why we are able to produce our projects with a high level of quality, craftsmanship and service.
